Considerations for employment or to volunteer:

The following must be completed before employment begins.  The first 3 items/clearances must be renewed every 5 years (60 months).

• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Record
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
• Federal Background Check

The following service codes are needed to register for a federal background check:
1KG6TR for PDE non-public schools
1KG6Y3 for PDE volunteers 

• Safe Environment Part 1; Protecting God's Children Seminar

This course has options in-person or virtual throughout the archdiocese.  Click HERE to review current availability.  After you attend the one-time training session, you will get a certificate of completion that you should send to the school.

• Safe Environment Part 2; Mandatory Reporter Training 

This is an online module that takes about 1 hour to complete and can be done in 3 intervals.  Click HERE to complete.  You will need to create an account with a username and password to proceed through the training session online.  When finished, please print out the certificate of completion to send to the school.
