The new Mercy scholarship honors the heritage and legacy of the Sisters of Mercy and Mercy education.
This $2,000 award is for students who graduate from a Mercy high school; it is in addition to both the merit scholarship and the Stump Family Catholic High School Award. In total, a graduate from a Mercy high school would be eligible for a total of $19,000 to $28,000 in aid from SXU through these three awards.
Of course, Xavier will also determine a student’s eligibility for state/ federal aid and institutional need-based aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) results.
