Mission Statement

Mercy Career & Technical High School is a private, urban career and technical high school sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy.

Within a 21st century learning environment, we provide a Catholic education and a comprehensive, academic, career and technical school experience which prepares students for the workforce and/or post-secondary education.

In the Mercy tradition, we live the Gospel in word and action and promote service to others. The Mercy Career & Technical High School graduate is a highly competent, compassionate, contributing member of the global community.

    As indicated in our mission statement, Mercy Career & Technical High School prepares our students for the future and motivates them to live the Gospel in word and action. Therefore, it is expected that the graduate of Mercy Career & Technical High School will manifest knowledge, attitudes, and skills that will make this possible. These three characteristics of the Mercy graduate are consistent with the beliefs of Mercy Career & Technical High School.
